The battle of Gallipoli is a significant event because we now commemorate Anzac day for our fallen soldiers at Gallipoli. Anzac day is the day where the Anzacs landed on Gallipoli. We commemorate it for all the deaths loss, the relationships found, the findings of our national identity and also for the soldiers who sacrificed their lives to fight for the mother land and to protect New Zealand. We now have a public holiday for Anzac day where we eat Anzac buscuits and give a moment of silence for our loss soldiers.
